Between 1908 and 1910 when the Kenton Manufacturing Company was temporarily closed, many of their bank patterns were transferred to the Grey Iron Casting Company. In 1910 they were returned; however, the Bank of Industry, Bank of Commerce, National Safe and Columbus Safe continued to be produced by the Grey Iron Casting Company but with some minor casting differences.
